I have taken Motorola C168 last month and I am not very satisfied with it's performance. At first it looks like the L6 & L7 but on using it.. it's starts to show off it's true colours....

Which going through the tech specs, this definately seems to be a great phone with a sleek design, lagre address book (600 numbers), huge SMS space (250 messages), MMS, GPRS and a talktime of 9 hours.

Phone indeed has a large address book but cannot have multiple numbers under the same name, SMS memory is large but creating a SMS is a painful task as the keyboard response is very sluggish (there is a time gap between press of the button and letter appraring on the screen. It actually results in many typing mistakes.

The bettery life is far away from what is claimed. It doed not gives me even 2 hours of takktime and have to charge it after every alternate day which becomes a problem for a guy like me who is always in the field.

This phone does not comes with a data cable so transferring ringtones & pictures from PC is a problem.

Another typical problem which I faced with this phone was that it's signal strength goes down as soon as you begin a conversation and comes back to normal after 4-5 seconds which results in frequest disconnection of the call. This is really a irritating problem as the other party thinks that I have delibrately disconnected the call. I am sure that this is not a network problem as I have another Airtel at my home which is fitted in a Nokia1600 and I never face any such problem with that.

In short. This is a good phone only if you are looking for a Large address book and SMS space, otherwise it's a strict NO-No.... you can also see the Nokia 1600 which comes in the same budget and is much more fun to use.
