Powerful 750w motor - but jars not designed well

My Icon Deluxe mixer grinder is nearing its end of 2-year warranty period offered by Morphy Richards. It is serviced by Bajaj Electricals. We have been using this mixer quite heavily and the motor is really best in class - powerful with 750w. The problem with this is that the jars are not well-designed to handle this powerful drive from the motor. hence its weakest link is the coupling mechanism at the base of each jar.


It comes with 3 jars, the body is stainless steel and its lid and handle are durable plastic. The lid has a rubber sealing ring which is also susceptible to quick wear and tear - but that is not a big issue as it can be easily replaced.


Although the mixer is quite strong and useful, the problems we are facing is with the jars one after the other - the mechanism for attaching the various blades and the coupling device which interlocks with the main motor-drive is the trouble spot. after facing this trouble thrice with the chutney jar. they were nice enough to give me a brand new replacement jar!


However now it is the turn of the dry-grinding jar's blade assembly to come apart - my wife noticed various parts - washers, steel circular rings, etc. all had come out loose! For the past couple of days I have been trying to get my complaint registered but all the toll-free-numbers are showing busy. 1800-22-6722, then I called up Jay Ambe Electricals(Bajaj service center) they asked me they cannot proceed without registering a call to Morphy Richards call center - when I told them my inability of contacting them, they gave me two other numbers 1800-22-2252 and also 1860-180-6722 . but to no avail. both of them show busy continuously. My warranty will expire this month - so let me try persistently to get through to them.


When I pointed out this jar-design problem to a Morphy Richards salesman he said he felt it was even deliberate. to need their service occasionally. to counter my argument he asked me. "Do you know Sumeet's quality - they are the top and their parts never fail - yet where are they now?  CLOSED. See that is what happens to people here who give sincere durable quality" he said with a smirk. I was speechless and took time to digest his comment!
