The director and writer of this movie is amit kumar.a thriller that promise to explore social and moralistic question can be a gripping one, but monsoon shootout fails to engage deapite being backed by powerhouse talents such as nawazaudsin siddiqui, neeraj, vijay verma and tabbistha chatterjee.the film is the story of a cop faced with delemma of whether he should shoot an accused or not.on the first day of his job adi bids farewell to his mom as a cop.on his first day of training on field adi meets his senior khan who takes him along while chasing a murder accused.the accused tries to escape when he relise that cops are trailing.in fact during each scenario in this film that ginges on moral dilemma the sequence of events is so predictable it would have turned a borefest had it not been for a wonderful set of actors spreaheading the narrative.
one good thing of this film is acting of vijay verma who outshines every one in the film
