I purchased the unit had a licensed tech do th install. The unit has only been operating for 5 months and it will not hold the temperature in air handlers. The tech department in Miami is zero help. The warranty only covers parts. And the response time to address problem by Midea is non existant if you do have an issue. I sent them an e mail of a part . The tech said he would e mail me right back. That was 10 days ago. Still no reply. I would never buy another Midea. As builder remodeler. I cannot afford a disatisfied customer. I will never recommend Midea. I am looking at Japanese mini splits vs. Chinese. Carrier is now working with Midea on marketing in India. Midea and Carrier are off my list. Dealers in USA are starting to not sell Midea because of poor quality and service. That is going to make Midea even less attractive in the States.
