The latest version of internet explorer i.e 6 just carries on the legacy of the proud internet explorer family! and when you are using windows it does make a lot of sense to use a browser provided by the same guys who made windows! and though there have been visible improvements, most seem to be internal, which are more significant as they provide with more efficient browsing, which is most definitely the most important criterion! as far as the visual enhancements are concerned they have added a media bar which allows you to search and play supported media files!
and they seem to believe they have made image management easier by providing pop-up controls to save or copy images!
you also have automatic image-resizing which most folks will appreciate! this newer version is supposedly the most stable one but then microsoft claims that for each new version it releases! this one's definitely faster than the ones it follows! but it really is a mystery why even this one doesnt support tabbed windows! this one is a good one, but is definitely somewhat inspired by netscape! and with the release of netscape 7 and opera 7, even this version of ie cant really claim to be the best!
but for those who liked or even tolerated the previous versions, this one's in! if you are expecting miracles, scale them down a little and you might not return too disappointed!
