The Meru has a good academic foundation largely because of its dedicated and caring teachers. The teachers are approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in students learning and overall development. Classroom engagement is good, and children benefit from the effort teachers put into both academics and individual attention.
However, the management needs to reevaluate the value delivered against the fees charged. While the intent to offer additional learning opportunities is appreciated, many programs such as MCLAP, Robotics, and extra reading initiatives are introduced as paid add-ons rather than optional enrichment. These programs are charged in thousands of rupees, which places unnecessary financial pressure on parents.there are some of these for which we as parents paid but did not see any efforts on but we paid the fees for these.
Such activities should ideally be:
Included within the core fee structure or
Clearly optional, without making parents feel compelled to enroll their children
Education should focus on meaningful learning rather than multiple paid parameters that inflate costs without proportional value. With better fee transparency and a stronger focus on affordability, the school has the potential to truly match its academic promise with a fair and parent-friendly approach.
