Plot:

Performance:

Music:

Cinematography:

The story is a mix of Darr and Aitraaz wherein two girls fall in love with the same guy.Karisma Kapoor is the millionaire owner of a record label who takes an unduly interest in one of her artistes, Akshay Kumar.

Evidently she carried the torch for him in college too. He is however, in love with his college classmate Amisha Patel which he quite forgets about when he shares one night of passion with Karisma .....

Since the plot has been witnessed earlier, little care has been taken to make the screenplay gripping or exciting. The film lacks the by-now-famous emotional quotient associated with Suneel Darshan films and the romantic scenes, barring a few, are not worth a mention.

The screenplay does little to help elevate the proceedings. With a solid cast and a fine director , the writers should've come up with gripping incidents. But both the first half and the second half are too routine in content and offer nothing original.

Another drawback of the film is the climax, which stands on a weak drama.. Even the songs and their placement are far from impressive. In fact, atleast two songs -- 'Jab se' and 'Mere Jeevan Saathi' -- have been placed without any relevance to the goings-on. Even action scenes look forced and weren't required at all.

Akshay is mediocre. Amisha has no scope at all. Karishmna is quite good. Alok is okay.

It has weak merits and lacks in substance, which is its biggest flaw.
