I bought a brand new GL 350 last month. Mercedes starting assembling this car in India for the first time in Pune. Within 1 month, the a/c pipe in the car developed a hole/crack and the a/c does not function. Bangalore dealer Sundaram Motors told me that the spare is not available in India and the same has to be imported.
Such is the support by Mercedes in India. After lot of hue and cry, Sundaram Motors has told me that they are organizing a part from Pune. Am still waiting for the car to be returned to me after fixing the problem.
