Most of the original McDonald's in our area have undergone a recent refurbish. We have enjoyed McDonald's all over lives, but the refurbishment have ruined it for us. We are reluctant to ever set foot in McDonald's ever again. Firstly, the automatic external door remains open almost all the time, which during the winter months means it is actually warmer outside than it is in. The lighting is now a horrible harsh brilliant white. Even though the payment area has been segregated from the pickup counter the service is actually considerable slower. Sorry McDonald's, you just don't do it for us any more. Perhaps you know expect your clients to have extra layers of clothing to keep warm in your establishment, have more time to wait for food , and sit in an extremely uncomfortable, characterless sub zero environment to eat it.
