This book is an autobiography of the former prime minister of India, I.K Gujral. He was the prime minister for just one year, from 1997-98. It includes a detailed account of Gujral’s life since the beginning and his involvement in politics.
The thing that I like the most about his book is that Gujral’s writing is straightforward and does include some not known facts about Indian politics.
His honest writing will surely keep you engrossed in the book. I really enjoyed the part where Gujaral has commented on Narsimha Rao’s duration as the prime minister. The book does offer an insight in the life of a notable politician in Indian politics. I would surely recommend it to people who are interested to know about politics.
