It is my humble suggestion and request not to use the services of matrix Mobile Services. Given below is my experience:
I traveled from chennai to China from 17th to 27th may 2010 and wanted a chinese mobile number so contacted the matrix cheaters. They gave me a number and everything went smoothly till I reached china and checked that the service wasn't working at all.
a) The customer care agent advised me to change my mobile phone...now thats a brilliant suggestion indeed which I decided not to implement...
b) The rates are awfully high especially when one can purchase a sim card in china for as low as 65 yuan without any proofs whatsoever...
c) The bill arrived and the rentals and calls were charged from 15th which is beyond my understanding because the connection was non operational till 23
d) the exchange rates for yuan was atleast 20 to 30 percent more than exchange rates at which you can change currency
e) there was no authorization or consent required to debit my credit card for their high and false billings
f) generally the international norm is that billings will be charged only if the recepient of call lifts the handset...in matrix the charges are to be paid for failed call also for use of network
g) lastly, if you have a problem just ensure you dont call up their customer care because they may even ask you to return back to india to get connectivity and you will pay incoming charges for listening to crap
