I had very bad experience of this company in respect of International card. I purchased a Sim card in Mumbai, in May’12 for three days from 7-05-12 to 9-05-12. However I could not travel on 7th May so the date was changed from above said date to 23-05-12 to 25-05-12. My earlier plan was to travel by Jet Airways via Brussels but subsequently changed it travel via London.
My son is residing in U.S.A. and to contact him in emergency this was purchased. Once I came to U.S.A. this was of no use to me.I tried to contact him on 23-05-12 after the plane landed at Newark and after I was cleared from immigration but it did not work.
After I came out he was there and I came with him to his residence and I closed my Mobile Instrument and after some time removed the sim card also. I was shocked to receive a bill amounting to Rs. 433 for June’12.
I fail to understand when I was allowed to use only for three days (twice) in May’12 how the bill was received for further period. I found some junk mail for which you have charged Rs.14.85 in June’12.
I requested the company to withdraw the bill immediately.
I am not able to return the card as I am still in USA and will be here for some more time.When I purchased the card I was told that I will be charged $ one for three days and I was advised to make payment by Credit Card only. My Rs. 10, 000 was blocked by company. I am afraid that company will go on sending bill till entire amount is exhausted.
I made written complaint to their office twice but there is no response. Please someone guide me where and how to approach.
I also request Mouth Shut to make publicity through Leading News Papers (if necessary, by charging fees to complainer) to create awareness in General Public.
