I have been reading some reviews on small cars. I thought I should also put my 2 cents on this website. I purchases WagonR LXi in Jun-2004. It's been 3+ years and close to 35K Kms. I still feel that this is a very good car. I have been consistently getting a mileage of close to 14 KM/Litre. Ans with AC I do get upto 12-13 KM/Litre.
The car can accommodate 4 people very comfortably and you can have the 5th person stuffed into it pretty easily. The same is true with any other small car. I had been to many long drives - especially the ghats. This car could easily manage the sharp curves and steep mountains without any problems.
There is ample storage space and leg space inside the car. Some of the best features of the car are the power steering and the engine. Thought the engine is not very powerful, it serves the purpose in the city. There is absolutely ZERO noise unlike some of the other small cars.
The only problem that I have with this car is the fact that the AC takes a lot of power out of the engine.
All in all, a very good car.
