Just 6 months ago I bought a maruti versa 2006 model [used] run 27500 kms. I like this car for space, power and driving ease. Since I purchased this gem I have travelled around 6000 kms in 5 months and I found no problem with the car.
Travelled with only 4 members and with 8 members and luggages. when travelling with only 4 of our family, my 2 kids will sleep on back and centre row seats. Myself and my wife will occupy front seats, having fun and love to drive this gem. Before I buying this car, just consulted with my friends and everybody said a BIG NO for this car.
But, I stand in my decision to buy this car and now after driving this car the same friends are saying YES, IT IS GOOD. I don't understand why this gem is not selling in volumes, somebody said, just because of "LOOKS" If LOOKS is the only problem then what is the LOOK of wagon R, santro's when introduced in the market. Most of the people underestimate this gem and that's the only reason for very small number of gems on the roads.
As far as mileage is concerned, my GEM is giving 14 kmpl average on mixed city/highway running without a/c. will write more in my next review.
