After clocking nearly 5000 kms on my June 2015 Suzuki Swift VDI, I must say this car is a legendary car manufactured by Maruti.
The strongest point of this car is good quality ride, excellent handling and control, reliability. I have spent at an average of Rs.5, 000 at each normal service, excluding cost of some major parts, battery, tyre.
I got an average fuel economy of 14.5kmpl with A/C. I did not face any problem. I always felt confident with the car when I drove and truly Japanese make reliable cars.
Though the spare cost was not high the quality of some pares were not good, which is bit of a let down. The bumper of the car has very weak joints and breaks easily for minor blows. The labor cost at the service center was very high. I am not sure if its uniform all over the country or only to this service center. The number of swifts on road and the high resale value speaks for itself that how good is this car.
I am more than satisfied with this car and would recommend this car for long use.
