I will just write a brief review. I booked my A-Star on 31st Jan 2009 and got it on 2nd Feb. I had taken the test drive of Santro, i10, Spark and A-star and found that handling of A-Star is better as compared to others. Specially the power steering is very good. In the beginning I got a mileage of 10-12 Km. But now after 2000 km, I am getting 16-18 (with AC) in city.
It has got all the neccessary features in its mid end version (vxi) like, power steering, power windows, AC, inbuilt music system, immobaliser, mobile charger etc. On 1st gear, it make some noise at little higher speed, but that can be taken as indication of shifting to 2nd gear. Boot space and leg space may be problem for some people. One of my friend who is very tall couldn't fit his leg. Neither could he fit in i10 but he is comfortable in Spark. Spark probably has better leg space but can't beat A-star in other areas.
