I am a privelaged owner of a Maruti 800 (B II) Non-AC since Dec. '03. Let me share my experience with all you lovers of M800. From the day I got behind the wheel of my small wonder to this day (almost two years later) let me frankly admit that I have got immense satisfaction & pleasure driving it. A couple of months back due to certain reasons there developed a small problem with the engine ( it was not picking up speed), so I contacted the local dealer. Immediately their experts came to my home with a service car that was left at my disposal to use and my car was taken to the workshop & returned back after duly sorting out the problem. What I want to stress is that selling a product is not important, what matters is the kind of after sales service that a customer gets from the manufacturer of the product. After that small incident, I get regular follow-up calls from the factory at Gurgaon & also the dealer. It really shows that ''MARUTI CARES'' not only for its products but also its customers.
During the Diwali weekend, my family & self set out for a tour to Aurangabad from Pune & back. We covered a total distance of almost 850 kms of trouble free driving.
I am also regularly keeping a track of the mileage and let me share wiyh you all that with the pathetic traffic & road conditions in Pune I get a whopping 17.25 kms per liter and during my last trip to Aurangabad, I got 18.80 kms to a liter.
I would sum up to say that if you are looking to graduate from a two wheeler to a four wheeler just go to your nearest Maruti Showroom & get the feel of the SMALL WONDER - M800.
