The Maruti 800 is of course one of the most commonly sighted car on the Indian roads. I used to own a 1996 model Maruti 800, which has now been sold off and as new Zen has taken its place. I am aware that the Maruti 800 is one of the cheapest cars on Indian Roads and that is the reason it is so commonly seen. It has no comparison with other small cars such as the Matiz and Palio. Another bad point is its shape. The shape of the Maruti 800 is very much like adabba. The othe small cars like the zen and others are found to be very sleek. One good point of the 800 is its A.C. The A.C. of the 800 is excellent and cools very fast. I would like it if the Maruti company would take interest in improving upon their car based on these points.
