If someone asks me about favorite Hollywood director, I can say his name without even thinking for a second. I think he is one of the best director of all times.
I became his fan after I saw his movie(which was my first Scorsese movie), The departed. Starring Leonardo di Caprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicolson. I personally feel that each scene of his each movie is intense. From casting to editing, I find his movie to be perfect.
He can not only make movies related to drugs or gambling or mafia(as is his reputation), but also adventures and funny movies like Hugo(which in fact won 12 academy awards, inluding best movie and director).
