I went manali in march with my friends and I must say this is damn awesome place I have ever been, I took the bus from delhi. The all over route is very adventurous and very thrilling specially near kullu honestly the road is quite scary which I enjoyed. But in my second day of trip we faced heavy rainfall. Solang valley and rohtang pass are very famous place in manali but in my came I could only visit solang coz rohtang pass os closed due to rainfall. In solang you can try different sports in snow which were costly for me at that time as we were student. But all over you can enjoy snow, sports, whiskey which is cheaper than UP.
I must say that you should visit manali ASAP.
