Manali is a beautiful city with snapped mountains all around. We visited this location last week end of march 2017 and the climate was very pleasant. Just half an hours drive will take you amidst snow points which the children can enjoy playing in the snow. Need to bargain well with horse owners as they charge huge amounts for short distances which can be trekked on foot as well. Even jumpsuits available on hire on the way to snow point are 250/- while it's only 100/- at the snow point itself. Better to carry snacks and water so you can enjoy for a longer time.
