From mud to red-carpet. Review on Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat!!!! Is there anything wrong with this name? Please somebody tell me what’s the issue? Why we hate this name so much? Did she committed some crime or she is a part of some militant group? As far as my knowledge is concerned, she has not involved in any such activities. The only crime she has made that of stepping out of restricted life. The kind of background she has lived in is far away from all the glitters and limelight of bollywood. It’s a revelation for the woman (especially in Indian society).

Originally named as Reema Lamba, Mallika has traveled a long way to earn fame and name on the international arena. Outgrown from small village in Haryana to Cannes film festival, she has really established a new definition of boldness and modernity.

Sometime I fail to understand the society’s behavior towards certain issue. When there is no problem in viewing Basic Instinct, water, Satyam Sivam sundaram then why such a fuss? We have easily adapted the pub culture and foreign lifestyle then what’s wrong with Mallika’s act.

From my perspective, there is nothing wrong with Mallika’s act or behavior it’s us the human being, who lacks in the modern thinking and approach. We have to develop and set up an atmosphere rather I would say we should be modern by our thought and act. Simply adopting foreign culture and attire will not make you modern and outgoing.
