) I would like to share my experience with Make Visas. I contacted the company for New Zealand Immigration in 2017 and the beginning; they told me that the whole process will be completed in 6 months. Firstly, they filed my NZQ and the result came within one month. Once I received the NZQ result, the next step was to submit expression of Interest (eoi). During the submission of EOI, the company didn’t ask me to pay any further charges as my score was 145 which was less compared to the new standard score i.e., 160 which is required to receive invitation to apply (ITA).
When they explained to me the whole scenario of the changed Points System, I got tensed and felt cheated at the same time. And, later on, for one year, I waited for the score to get lower but unfortunately, the score was constant throughout. After some time, my case manager suggested me to let my wife appear for the IELTS exam and NZQ to get an extra 20 points towards my overall score.
Then my wife appeared for IELTS but she was unable to score the desired score i.e, 6.5 band that was complete wastage of money. Afterward, the company again asked her to appear for the IELTS exam but I was not ready for it. They convinced me that this will surely help us out, therefore, I took the chance again and she appeared for the IELTS exam and this time luckily, she managed to score the required result.
Thanks to her IELTS score, my overall score improved and I was able to get over 160 points. Finally, I got my visa in December month. Though, in the initial stage, they promised me that the whole process will take 6 months but it took more than one and a half years. The whole process was long but at the end, I got my visa that what worth it. Thanks to the entire team for putting their efforts on my case.
