The Mahatma Gandhi University which is situated on kottayam is one of the worst universities for the students to persue their degree. I completed my btech in mbits, nellimatom which is under the control of mahatma gandhi university and I suffered the after effects of studying in such a nasty university. The main issue of the Mahatma Gandhi University ( mgu) is its unstable academic timetable.
For an instance the result of the exam I wrote on last november havent yet published and expected to publish on the next may possibly. So I cant even apply to a pg course without publishing the last result and I am losing my crucial 8-9 months without any productive works. Also the university exam timetable becomes very complicated if 2 or 3 backpapers are there to clear, students need to write the exam on morning, afternoon and the next day etc. This situation gave me 3 more back papers as I failed to study all those subjects together.
The condonation procedures are way more elaborate than in other universities. Alltogether I feel like mg university is destroying the education of our students and the Future!
