Mahakal temple of darjeling is a beautiful and well maintained place . Its just 5 to 10 mins walk from chawrasta . It is dedicated to both hindus and budists .
When me and my friend went there , it was an fantastic trip the beauty and peace of darjeeling . Its not wrong to say that darjeeling is a very crowded place so peace can not be found so easely , but at the temple pace it seems to be being in some other place far from the crowded bajar( market) of darjeeling .
If one is planning a tour there , then two things must be kept in mind that be ware of the monkeys cause they dosent hesitate to snatch your food bags and be sure to manage your own or reserved vehicle for transportation because there is very poor management of local trasportations .
