Well, as you must have read in other reviews, London is quite an expensive place. in fact England in General is quite expensive. Things which cost a rupee or so in India cost a pound here. The hair brush I use costs 1-5 rupees in India. The same thing costs a pound in London. Cinema tickets cost anywhere between £5 to £10.
Now, one thing which is not doubly expensive is Beer. I used to go to places where you get a pint of beer for a pound. Same as in India! Normal price is around 2-3 Pounds for a Pint. In the pubs you see a lot of people dancing. quite a few people smooching and once in a while some fighting also. So, my logic is - why spend 7 pounds and watch a movie while you can see Action Romance, song and dance in a pub/club iand get 2-3 pints of beer in addition to that! The clubs around central london attact a lot of glamorously clad attractive women.
Rather than mundane tourist attractions, I would recommend a visit to Romford, where a number of clubs and pubs are lined up.
