I visited this lake when we where on the trip of shegaon .it is located at lonar in buldana district in maharashtra. I was not much aware about it. Ya its beautiful to see after knowing how it formed its mysterious.
I would like to provide you some information we listened by guide who where instructing some school childrens there.
A big whole was created due to asteroid collision . The whole is very deep . The water turning pink in color .
Its beauty is fabulous. As it to deep we have to covered it by walking . Its not much difficult to walk down . But road is not yet developed . There are some ponds , temples, on the mountain to stop water and mud so that the whole should not disclosed.
During rainy season its beauty multiples .
It took us 1 hour to reach down . Best experience I have got to climb up and down.
