Lohagad Fort is situated at Lohagad wadi at Maval.
It is very near to Famous Bhaje caves, as you can see Bhaje caves from the Fort, There is also a destiny Fort named as Vijapur fort. Lohagad fort has a great historic background of Shivaji Maharaj . It was owned by Great king Shivaji Maharaj, he was used this fort to keep loot from Surat. So, it is also famous among treasure hunters.
You can go Lohagad by road(via- Pune Mumbai old highway) or can also go by train, railway station there is Malavali Station. Lohagad Fort is just ahead from Bhaje Village.

and many more.
At fort base there are many hotels for meals and snacks.
