Thinking about Hugh Jackman's first appearance as this character, 17 years ago, brings back childhood memories for many viewers, and seeing the character grow old, like how the audience has, makes the movie really special.
Performances are top notch, and while special effects aren't given much importance in the plot, they are good when needed.
Story is predictable, but performances, fondness for the characters and nostalgia make this movie really good.
X Men fans should definitely watch, and their friends can accompany them if they like a good movie.
