Living in suburbs,local trains are a must,lets talk about western line.travelling from bandra to churchgate by taxi or the comfirt of a.c. car in the peak time of 11am to 1pm takes around ihour & fifteen minute,while you can reach the same place in 23minutes by local.
imagine driving in a car if you live in distance subrbs of vasai or nalasopara it will take 4 to 5 hours in your journey back & forth in local you will need only three hours so you save time so much that it can be substituted by helicopters only.
i wish if the railway authorities start 4 lines till virar & make virar the last junction instead of borivili all the people living in distance suburbs will be benefitted by it & the frequency of trains, as well as the crowd will surely decrease from what it is now.
