I am here to write a review on LG RD 7230 and not 7130 . had to do this as there was no category for the 7230 model. This is the camera / camcorder phone LG had taken out in conjunction with reliance.
To start with a one liner, 'dont buy it' . on the contrary if you plan to buy a reliance connection and alongwith it a camera phone and you have limited options , but still go for samsung or benq but definitely not this one...waster of money. .I had to buy as at that point of time there was no other option...
I was completely ( and I mean it ) misguided by the reliance web world...when I went to buy this phone ...and asked them a few questions they were completely blank ....and were giving contradictory replies....infact at that time they had promised me the pictures and video can be transferred to any cell phone be it gsm or CDMA or any model ( colored or non-colored ) but after trying for a cpl. of days again went to them then they said it only works on RIM phones....still good I tried for a few days ...and again went to them ...then they had the guts to say that this facility has not been introduced as yet and the pictures cannot be forwarded to a celphone.......
I was still happy as they told me you could upload them onto a computer thru an USB cable...so I tried for a few more days but that also didnt work ......After that I went to a few more reliance web worlds, LG mobile service centres but no could make it work and I resigned to the fact that the pictures can only be stored in the handset and not transferred any where.....
Now I come to hear that in some of the cases people have succeded in doing the uploading on to their computers.. ( lucky people )....
There are good sides also ....quality of camera is good...storing capacity is also good....but then why the hell would one spend 21000 to get these primary features....
Unless uptill LG and reliance dont update the software in this cell phone ...this is possibly the worst buy in Indian telecom inustry..
