Poor phone and poorer service from LG. Review on LG KP 500 Cookie

Never buy this phone. Superficially it looks like a great buy. But tons of quality issues continue to haunt this phone. I get an errorevery 2-3 days saying “SIM Card not inserted” and my phone shuts off. Super irritating. Short answer, go for a reputed phone company such as Apple, Nokiaor Blackberry. These Korean companies do not know how to build a good phone.

Initially the phone came across as a good buy given it's large feature set and compelling price point. But very soon the cracks started to appear in the software. The LG PC Suite is an absolute joke and even a moroncan build better software. The UI is non-initiuitive and it crashed my PCthrice (after that I gave up). The Cookie is also extremely slow and after experiencing other touch mobiles from HTC, Apple, this feels pathetic. Many times I jabbed the same menu twice thinking I did not “click” it, but it turns out that the phone is just slow and that take some getting used to.
