I was a very loyal customer of LetsBuy since the launch of Samsung Galaxy S2, even encouraged lots of my friend/colleague to buy from Letsbuy, but gradually I realised that LetsBuy itself is not interested in keeping its customers happy.They do not pay any heed to customer woes. They simply ignore it. First you will fight and then probably you will give up(guess, thats their new strategy).


Earlier I never used to have any problem with LetsBuy product or its delivery but it all started when I ordered an expensive LED TV from Letsbuy.(which was my 5th order from Letsbuy-all previous 4, I was more than satisfied).


My orders are LSB-517500(ordered 21st Oct, 11) - a samsung LED TV with free BLU Ray player and LSB- 534310(24th Oct, 11)-(an espirit ladies watch, philips toaster and philips trimmer).


LSB 534310 finally got delivered to my place after constant pestering from my side some15-20 days after placing the order. But here is the most surprising part -


the shipment which they delivered DID NOT have the watch at all(most expensive item of all 3). When I contacted LetsBuy they assured that I would be receiving the same in next 48 hours. But till today I havent. Its just the mails floating to and fro. God knows when they are going to send it(if at all:).


Now, LSB 517500(placed on 21st Oct)- this order changed all my view about LetsBuy and its service. I must have wasted 1000 bucks by calling their customer care but it was of no use. They kept on telling that this item is currently out of stock(same thing is happening with the watch now) and they would ship as soon as they have it back in stock. I dont understand how can they display it in stock on their website with a delivery promise of 4-7 working days and then dont deliver it for a month. Finally few days back I received my LED TV and again they didn't miss a chance to surprise me.


This time the free BLU Ray Player was missing. Am still following up with LetsBuy on that. I have sent numerous mails to them but they SIMPLY IGNORE. Also, I had to pay Octroi tax for accepting the delivery of LED Tv and I'm waiting for that refund as well.


And the best part is they have updated the status of every item I ordered as Dispatched:)


So here Im(waiting for my watch, BLU Ray player and Octroi tax refund)  writing a review if it may help you guys in anyway. If they continue the same way, I'm sure Letsbuy will soon be History.

Update 29/11/2011: Finally received my watch(which was part of my clubbed order) order id: LSB-534310 after writing numerous mails to customer care


Update 30/11/2011: Received a mail confirming dispatch of Samsung Blu-ray Player BD-D5100.


Still waiting for that and refund of Octroi tax.


Will keep you guys posted.

For all the readers, the LED TV was delivered in excellent condition with a warranty card and a representative from Samsung India came for the product installation.


LetsBuy definitely has great offers and sells products at quite low prices BUT then there are uncertainties. If they improve their customer service and fulfill their promised delivery time-frame then they have a long way to go or again it will force a consumer to take help of MouthShut platform to express their concern.
