Latehar is a small town under the latehar district in jharkhand. As it is known as its natural environment, forest and its produce and mineral and many more toursit sites. It is easily accessible via NH33 highway but the way is full of danger because naxal attack in the area is usual. There are many tourist place. one of the famous tourist site is" Naterhat "also known as "queen of chotanagpur" where I visited there with my friends in this year summer vacation. we saw the sunrise and sunset point that are amazing. we enjoyed a lot and was returning from around 5pm, unfortunately our car had a puncture in the way and we all were looted completely and tortured by some naxalist. Next day we had lodge a complaint in netarhat sadar thana and then we went to our home recklessly. this is the worst monument to our life.
Hotel prabhat vihar is a hotel near netarhat where we stayed. It is an average rated hotel. some other hotels available there with many ranges but none of them are the best service provider.
It is absolutely not the safe place. I would suggest to go there.
