Lot of things have been written about this one.
But the latest question is ... Can it win an oscar for India.
It has got all the ingredients.
Spectecular performances from all the actors, great music and a gripping climax.
What more can a cricket crazy nation expect.
But would the judges show that much of a sportman spirit and help it win the much deserved and much coveted oscar.
On the international arena, there is a lot which is desired of indian films.
The major problem is the length.
Lagaan being longer then the usual different (!!!) love stories made in india.
It also portrays the racism and may harm the british image on the internation screen.
Can the whites be bold enough to admit that this ranks among the best ever made.
Lets wait , watch and pray, because that is the most we can do.
