This year I joined with the Kedarnath-Badrinath trip arranged by Kundu Special in the month of September. But my experience was horrible at the same time painful.Success of a tour depends on the tour guide/manager.Our manager Mr.Nirmal Guchait was very uncouth and always busy to look after his personal gain. Knowing very well that the condition of roads are very very bad, he hired one good and one route/wrotten bus which even to surprize with no lights and fans, resulting unneccesary torture to the passangers, when the climate was very hot.When climbing down from Kedarnath in terrible bumpy road after long 10hours journey, in a very hot weather, manager on his own stopped the bus very near to Haridwar, just for buying vegetables for more than half an hour causing unbearable troubles to the tourists, who were awefully tired and at the mercy of the unjustified manager, which is not at all pardonable.In time of need one could not get in touch of him, either his cellphone was switched off or he was busy otherwise.At the time of booking at Sripati Bhavan and Strand Road, authority assured me that as a single tourist I will be provided with a twin sharing room always, except Kedarnath, but in the field it was different and had been provided with double bed room with extra flexible newar cot for three full grown females(may be very near and dear of him), though I was ready to provide extra charge for a single room, as told by the authority at the time  of booking.When I protested about it, Mr. Guchait, the uncouth manager publicly humiliated me by saying, "ERA EKHANE PROMOD BHROMONE ASHECHE TIRTHO KORTE NOI". It goes without saying that tourists want comfort of staying first, then best possible transport and then food. It is correct that I selected Kundu Special for best of the comfort in the remote pilgrimage, since Kundu Special is backed by 78years of tourism experience, but in field I found it a real flop, mere advertisement to attract tourist, as long as they keep this type of nondutyful, errant and careless manager like Mr.Nirmal Guchait. SO THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING WITH KUNDU  SPECIAL.
