Really world heritage !. Review on Konark

I have been to Konark, world famous suntemple.Now it is a part of world heritage monuments.

I had gone there with one of my friends in december 2001.Real cudos to the ancient artists and creators of this temple.It is carved with such a superb skill that u can not imagine just by watching the photographs.It is worth visiting again and again.

Only the drawback is lack of good transportation from nearest Puri.

In my Maharashtra, very excellent bus service is provided between Ajantha and nearest big city Aurangabad.

Apart from this Konark is a real gem.The famous suntemple is in the centre. Rathchakra is there at the bottom of this temple.After so many years of this great work now only one Rathchakra is in somehow good condition.Otherwise bcoz of the world heritage category some maintainance is kept.

Konark is on the outskirts of Orissa so u can go there from Kolkata also.but I dont know the exact distance and transportation facility.U can return to your holt on the same day or if u got own vehicle same day u can visit the Chilika lake.
