Kodaikanal, the name by itself hints a resort for summer. It s really nice place to visit. You can reach it by Train, Air and Buses.<br/>
By Train:
You need to get down at Kodai Road and take a bus. You can book for some good hotels, they will arrange for the pickup and drop.<br/>
By Road:
You have direct buses from all place in Tamilnadu. There are few luxury coaches like Praveen, KPN and Sharma from/to Chennai. Sharma also runs from/to Bangalore.<br/>
By Air'':
Get down and Madurai and book for your own vehicle.<br/>
The important things to be seen beside the usual places are few falls, its somewhat like trekking. There is a Trekking tour do go for that to enjoy.
Another important thing is the place is now getting cleaned, The local people avoid plastic bag and they are maintaining the beauty. Still lot more to do, but hope it will get better in the cioming days.
The climate is quite good, less pollution and nice places to see.
Beware of local guide, taxi and tour operators.
