Heya guys,
I am travel fanatic, I love travelling. I happened to chance upon Kerala, beautiful place in making. My visit to Kerala involved 2 days at Cochin. Cochin, as everyone would know, is famous for its waterways. Nothing much, other than churches. A typical sub-metro. The accomodation is quite reasonable, so is the quality of stay. I was in Cochin around Feb 2000'. The climate was pretty much the same as compared to Mumbai. I bet, anyone enjoying boat rides would love this place. I had the pleasure of having a boat-ride for full three and a half hours, that too, this bost was meant for a capacity of 25 people. Its great fun, watching the friendly locals, kids playing about in the waters, women doing their daily chores and lot of boat-houses parked along side. One must visit Cochin, if ever in Kerala, just for the boat-ride, if nothing less, and all at a very low cost. Mind you, don't plan your trip for more than 2 days. cos' the 2 days are more than sufficient for enjoying your stay.
