There was not a book written so heartily, so genuinely. It is a book that touches you on a personal level. It squeezes your heart and it goes out to the characters. The plot revolves around two kids both belonging to Muslim community separated by the inra segmentation of shia and sunni Muslims.
While one is the son of a rich, affluent man and other his servant. It is a heart wrenching story of capabilities of children to commit and endure crimes that can change the course of their lives. Khaled hussaini is amazing with his writing. An insight into the deepest dwellings of a child's heart.
