I bought Kinetic Flyte in year 2007 in Pune. The only reason to buy this bike: Honda Activa had a waiting of 2 months and I needed something instantly.
Good:
-After sale service availalbe as long as it was Kinetice. Since its been acquired by Mahindra poor service
-Service was good as long as it was Pune
-I moved to Chennai and to my surprise the two dealers in my locality stopped providing the service
Bad:
-Company claimed average to be 40-45. I never got this mileage. Even after each service I never get mileage above 30. The service center guy frankly told me it will never be above 30.
-Spare parts not available in market. Company sells them at quite a high cost. Every time u face a problem which u face too many you have to go to service center where they will never charge you less than 2000
-Every three months I get a new problem in the bike which costs me 2000 every time
-Local service centres will never take this bike for servicing and before I leave they would definitely ask me "What on the earth prompted me to buy this bike". The same thing asked by two established service centers in Pune and Chennai. Local service centers will never take this bike for service.
-For sure poor resale. I think nobody will take this bike from me
Lessons learnt;
Never buy a bike or a car which doesnt have presence in the market.
