I bought Kinetic 4 S in October 2005 . Review on Kinetic 4S

I bought Kinetic 4 S in October 2005(Grey Colour) & paid around Rs.38000/- though initially I was planning to buy Scooty Pep but it looks very childish.  Do you think I have taken right decision? It is a good scooter but few months(Jan 2006)  back I had seen white powder coming out from battery.  What is that?  I pour some hot water as suggested by local mechanic and it cleaned. Last week I saw the same white powder and I pour some water on it.

Next morning when I started my scooter(self start) some sound came(like some wire broken) and it didn’t start.  My dad called local Mechanic he said the wire of battery has been broken so he joined them with cellotape.  My dad said the wire broke because water gone to wire and may be there was  short-circuit.  Is true?   Other thing I want to share that I never had pillion ride.  I don’t know I am  quite scared when somebody sits on backseat.  I have fear how would I ride?  Please suggest me what should I do?

Is Kinetic 4 S has puncture resistant tyre?
