Just finished watching Kill Bill Vol.1... I have a DVD of Kill Bill Vol.2 lying next to me. I want to wait and let the violence seep in before a reload.

Let me say first up that this flick is a tribute to the revenge slasher flicks that we so badly love and greatly miss in this era where a clean efficient bullet settles rivalries of years score and more.
Uma thurman rocks with some frenetic swordplay and Lucy Liu is kool. Loved all those flying limbs and heads that leave jets and fountains of blood in its place. Dont get me it is almost comic once you get into the groove...Really tell me how can you go wrong when you have a hero(Uma is a hero to me!) out for revenge for a just cause and with all the fury hell can muster. 80 men in a little room with flashing blades and axes stand no chance.
The background music is a proper tribute to Bruce Lee's flicks of old and so is the distinctive yellow jump suit Uma wears for most part of the film. The editing and the camera work is a visual treat.
As for the story, the deeper meaning, and other things critics love raving and ranting about...I'll leave it people better qualified for the same...meanwhile you go and watch this film!!!
