I have been there for 6 days last year. I recommend this place to go for a Honeymoon. Splendid atmosphere and amazing backwater are once in a lifetime experience. We have been there in Kochi, munnar, theckedy and allapuzha for our travel. Also, we have visited Jatayu park which almost 100 kms from allapuzha. Night stay in backwater offshore hotel , Jungle safari in theckedy and Baloon ride in Munnar were the memorable experiences. Also , I recommend Jatayu park for 1 day tour. It is beautifully designed and represents women safely. Overall, go for Kerala in December end or January starting. Elephant seeing activity in jungle of theckedy is also very good.
