Before you buy this product, inquire about their annual maintenance contract. It is Rs. 5000/- or Rs. 6000/- yearly. This is far above what I pay yearly for another (non-Kent) water purifier that I use (Rs. 1200/- yearly). In case you do not have an AMC with Kent, then for any servicing that needs to be done, you have to pay around Rs. 250/- per visit and bear the cost of any component that they replace.
Make sure you ask Kent about the AMC, as well as how much it costs per servicing visit in case of non-AMC. The non-Kent water purifier, that I have, cannot treat hard water, but that capability is present in some of the other water purifier models of the same company (non-Kent); I do not know if their AMC (Rs. 1200/ yearly) is higher for purifiers that can treat hard water.
