I purchased Kent RO water purifier in April 2008 with one year warranty. after one year in august 2009 the adopter gets failed and I get it replaced and payed Rs.1150 for that. I did not go for ther AMC(annual maintainance chanrges)scheme worth Rs1500. and from august 2009, the adopter gets failed after every 4-6 months. everytime I use to pay 800 or 1100 for the replacement.
It means that is you are not going for their AMC plan then they will get your purifier parts replaced by the used ones ot with the parts which will work for max 6 months. after that you will have to go for another replacement which will again charge you more than Rs.1000. They are very money minded and they will start making their money just after your warranty ends.
