It came in with a bang, a very novel idea, came out unscathed and stronger in the wake of competition.
Maybe its the copy of Millionaire from USA, but the difference is the anchor. They didn't have Amitabh and that is the vital difference. No wonder the programme (in spite having dipped a bit in TRP's) is going fine and doing fine.
Though the novelty factor has been wiped out, KBC does try to keep formats interesting, celebrities, pati-patni and now the last one from the bag, junior KBC.
Infact the programme is a wealth of general knowledge information. Also a tremendous class in acting. Its more like a 3rd innings for Amitabh. One when he started acting, other when he entered politics and the third when he started anchoring for KBC.
Thankyou KBC for bringing the great actor to our homes everyday.
