KBC 4 made a comeback this week and with it the most popular host Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. The one season where Shahrukh hosted lacked everything.Mr Bachchan as a host is impeccable. His command over the languages especially Hindi is amazing. He puts the participants and ease, listens to their stories with interest. Encourages them and also advises them. He is completely involved in the entire process and doesnt give an impression of doing it as a part of his job.
His enthusiasm when someone gives the right answer, his humility when someone praises him and his obliging nature in answering even the most silliest and sometimes too private questions with dignity is truly worth a praise.
KBC was not KBC the one season he missed. The season 4 sees participants from the interiors of India, from villages probably most of us would never have known existed if not for KBC.
The questions too are intelligent ones and truly matches the hype generated prior to the show. Koi bhi sawaal chota ya bada nahi hota :-)Though the participants are strangers, one ends up rooting for them to win, such is the effect kBC has on the audience.
