Kashid is one of the cleanest and vast beach that I have ever been to. It is located in Alibaug and is great place to visit if you’re seeking an escape for a day, from your daily monotonous life. There are also many water sports and water activities there for enjoyment of kids and adults too. but they are charged a little high. The Food of the hotel was outstanding as well as the service was 24/7 and was very good. The food in Konkan is so close to home, typical Maharashtrian and freshly prepared on order just for you. it being an of season time there wasn’t much crowd on the beach. Next Morning we left for Diveagar Beach and again the roads were the same rough patches but scenic. Took a dip at the hotel pool for an hour and then Parasailing on the beach in the evening. The kashid beach also has water sports like banana ride and jet ski for sports junkies. They are very good and its a very good experience overall. The only thing I don’t like is that there is a lack of good hotels but you’ll find plenty of bungalows available on rent and they arrange the food too. So you can get a good bargain. There is no public transport so you will require a private vehicle to roam around and enjoy the scenery.
