I had a samsung SII and wanted a second phone for my family. I chose KARBONN as it was mainly for standby use. I purchased the same from CROMA in Bangalore on 09-Sep-2013. Six months into the use, The display got damaged. I was asked to go to their service center in Jayanagar, I came to know that the display and touch are integrated and it would cost me INR 4952/-. The phone has been lying in the center since March-3 and I call them every week and they say that the spare is yet to come even after 4 weeks.
Never buy a phone on the price and specifications. Look for after sales service as well.
As long as the phone works, It is enjoyable and is a nightmare if service is required.
Since I anticipate that 40% of the buyers are required to go to the service center, I do not recommend this brand to prospective buyers.
Do not Buy KARBONN. One of the worst after sales service I have ever come across.
